If you can focus fire and kill 1 red ship first, you're most likely going to win. FOCUS FIRE! Get your entire team to shoot the same ship! This is critical. Donski would be my choice, but any radar would do. If you absolutely must bring a CA/CL, then bring something with radar. Also, with 5.5km detection, I could spot the other DDs first and let BBs pummel them.ģ. If I couldn't get the cap at the start, I'd go out wide and spot red BBs and torp them. I would mostly get into 1 cap, but never try for both caps at once. There's no CV to worry about and really radar was very rare so spotting was like the good ol days in 2016. I have a Black, However, I play IJN DD pretty well, so I brought Yug with torp reload. Obviously a radar DD or hydro DD is best. As I mentioned, I suck at BBs.įor DD, bring whatever you do best in. Read other threads about which BB to bring. I did OK with it, but it wasn't being effective enough. I brought it in close to caps, sometimes in 1 cap for the radar. I used radar effectively in prob 4-5 of the 8 games. I didn't have Pom, so I brought a MO for radar. Almost all of my games were 2xBB + 1DD.įor a BB, bring a Pom if you have it.
